Radon testing is accurate and easy thanks to these kits. Just open the bottle by unscrewing the top, expose it to the air from two to four days and follow the manufacturer's instuctions. Use the mailing package provided to send your sample to an EPA-approved lab ( RAdata). Laboratory analysis costs are included in the purchase price. The lab will mail you a professional report with the level of radon detacted in your home.

Radon System Diagnostics.
We check for safe operation of your radon system, design and how it is installed for a fee of $89.00. By the u-tube, you should have a label with a name, RMT number, date installed, and a phone number when this information is on the label it means it was professionally installed. If any or all of this information is missing from your radon reduction system it most likely was not professionally installed and could be defective. If needed we can upgrade your existing radon mitigation system by bringing it up to today's standards at an additional cost.
Radon System Maintenance Package.
You can purchase a two year maintenance package for a one time fee of $100.00. The maintenance package includes an annual inspection to check your fan for cleaning. We will make sure that all clamps and pipe in your radon mitigation system are tight and in good shape.Also included: one unscheduled trip per year to clear or clean an ice cap from your vent, if needed. Outside Radon Mitigation system for a one story house. Starting at $595.00
This includes RP 145 fan, two couplers, cord, U-tube and one suction point in the basement floor or in the sump pump pit and one penetration into the rim joist to go outside the house. Up to fifty feet of the PVC pipe, plus all the 45 and 90 degree elbows needed to install your system. Radon Solutions, LLC will install your radon mitigation system. If the pedestal sump pump needs to be replaced with a submersible sump pump it will cost $100.00 more.
Radon Reduction or Radon Mitigation FREE estimate.
When we come out to your home for your FREE estimate. We will need some information such as the plans for your home if you have them, your radon test results paperwork and the age and size of the home. We will listen to your concerns, inspect your home and talk to you about where you would like the fan. This will take about 1/2 hour to a hour of your time.

You pay for the shipping by UPS, FedEx or USPS. Depending on how quickly you need the test results back, you can send it by next day air, second day air or ground.
You still may need to buy pipes, fittings, hangers, clamps, plastic strap, screws, sealant for cracks in floor, sealant for PVC pipe into floor, fire collars, washers and screws for fire collars,backer rod and roof flashing. This is not a complete list of items needed to install your radon mitigation system.
You will need some tools like a hammer drill, drill bits for a hammer drill, drill and or cordless drill, drill bits for drills, hole saws, sawzall and some hand tools. This is not a complete list of tools needed to complete the installation of your radon mitigation system.
You will need a fire collars when you run your pipe out through the drywall in the garage. You may need 2 fire collars: one for the wall and one for the ceiling.
